Under these points, the research examines in detail about the potential effects of these changes on skill requirement, job role, and overall employment opportunities in logistic industry of South Africa. To conduct this research quantitative research approach is applied. For this, a survey was conducted with professionals in the sector to gain reliable data on workforce changes, technology adoption, and skill requirement. Based on this, the results showed that digital transformation is helpful to increase the demand for highly skilled workers, particularly in various areas like digital logistic management, and data analytics in which there are some concerns regarding job displacement present because of automation.
