Case study : assessing an ERP implementation in South Africa

Abstract

The ABC Corporation is about to kick off a massive upgrade of its critical business Information Systems. These types of system upgrades are notoriously difficult and have a low success rate. The exercise can, however, increase organisational efficiency and have a positive impact on automating business processes. The primary objective of this research aims to complete a readiness assessment towards the Enterprise Resource Platform (ERP) implementation at the ABC Corporation. The organisation and individuals in this paper have been anonymised for confidentiality and competitive reasons.
