Abstract
In the present investigation, the multi-phase equilibria relevant to ferrochromium refining and
stainless-steel making have been made in terms of gas-metal equilibria in alumina crucible and
gas-slag-metal equilibria in chrornium-oxxie crucible and silica crucible, elucidated by 73
figures in forms of silicon distribution, sulphur partition and chromium distribution. (Abbreviation abstract)
