Abstract

This study was undertaken in an attempt to establish the extent of ethics attitudes of business school students, which exist in South Africa. The study is a replication of a previous study developed for ethical attitude comparison between USA students and Israeli students. (Preble & Reichel, 1988). The original study has subsequently been replicated three times to include Western Australia (Small,1992), South Africa (Moore & Radloff, 1996) and Taiwan (Lin,1999). In all previous replications, the identical instrument was used to allow data comparison. This instrument has been used, along with additional demographic responses in order to allow additional data analysis between domestic sub-groups. These sub-groups range from gender and age through to ethnic origin reflecting cultural influence and various educational disciplines
