The relationship between demographic variables and justice perceptions of the Equity Act.

Abstract

The current research report examines the relationship between demographic variables and perceptions o f distributive, procedural, and inteipersonal justice. The study was performed with 124 employees from a company that services the steel industry in South Africa. The results indicated that there were significant relationships between some o f the biographic variables, employment related variables, financial status, and health related variables, and perceptions o f distributive, procedural, and interpersonal justice. The theoretical and practical implications o f these results are discussed along with limitations of the current study and directions for future research.
