A protosuchid crocodilian is reported from the Forest Sandstone Formation (Upper Triassic)
of the central Zambezi Valley, Zimbabwe. It is closely related to known protosuchians
from terminal Karoo deposits in South Africa and it is provisionally referred to cf. Notochampsa
sp.
