Abstract

This dissertation outlines the addition of memory management facilities to the Standard Multitasking operating System ( S M T ) jareal - time kernel which provids a multitasking environement for application tasks written in the high - level language The c o n c e p t s and d e s i g n p h i l o s o p h y u s e d to a c h i e v e t h i s o b j e c t i v e as we l l as t h e u n d e r l y i n g c o n c e p t s o£ r e a l - t i m e pr o g r ammi n g a r e d i s c u s s e d .
