dc.description.abstract | Nocardioform bacteria were studied for their ability to interconvert bile acids. From the studies of utilisation and resistance curves, the most suitable donor and recipient strains for complementary gene cloning, were Arthrobacter oxydans strain C1 and Rhodococcus erythropolis strain ATCC 4217-1 respectively.
