Abstract

This comprehensive study was carried out to investigate the state of Risk Management (RM) implementation within the South African Industry, explicitly on the perspective of small contractors. To achieve this, the following objectives were surveyed: • To identify risks types related to small contractors in South Africa. • To identify the major difficulties to successful implementation of risk management by small contractors in South Africa. • To determine risk management processes related to small contractors in South Africa.
