Abstract
Musical education, communication and personal identification are needs to
which every young chold should have exposure. In South Africa, privileged
few have this opportunity to partake in music and its subsidiary social and
cultural interrelations. It can no longer be viewed as a lavish leisurely pursuit,
but rather a creative tool that fosters interaction and upliftment that can
unite and educate the entire community.
There is a lack of public musical education facilities within Johannesburg. A
city that hosts numerous cultures based on diverse music interrelation. This
study aims at implementing a musical system that can translate the response
to various hosts spatially allowing for a facility that can connect and respond
to each individuals sensual needs.
This leads to the insertion of a musical facility that can accommodate the
community through musical education, interaction, consumption, production
and performance
