dc.description.abstract | The dissertation describes a modified apparatus, testing and analytical technique for obtaining the relationships between the coefficients of hydraulic conductivity, capillary pressure and water content of unsaturated soils. The apparatus and analytical technique employed in the investigation are aimed at reducing the time duration, and improving the accuracy of testing.
