Abstract
This research report is a descriptive study of the
interface between donors of aid and recipients of the aid
in South Africa. It examines a range of relations that
exist between donors, particularly business donors, and
recipients. The report focuses on the question whether aid may actually diminish self-reliance among recipients. (Abbreviation abstract)
