Introduction Pulpal damage in response to tooth preparation is an undesirable result and a concern in the practice of fixed prosthodontics. The purpose of this study was to determine the accuracy and reliability of using Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) measuring software to make linear measurements of enamel and dentine. In this manner the preoperative measurements of dentine could be determined to prevent over-preparation. [Abbreviated Abstract. Open document to view full version]en_ZA
