Abstract

Female sex workers (FSWs) have unique health needs. However, there are political and socio-economic factors that facilitate or hinder their access to health services. The overall objective of this study was to examine factors that influence FSWs’ utilization of and satisfaction with health services in four settings in South Africa for the period April to August 2010. In addition, the study examined type of health service accessed, and reason for visiting these services.
