Abstract
In this dissertation the clinical manifestations, outcome and prognostic factors associated with Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteraemia were assessed prospectively, resistance to anti-pseudomonal drug described and quantified, and phenotypic methods applied clinical isolates for epidemiological purposes.
