    Crisis management in the subscription video on demand industry in sub-Saharan Africa

    This qualitative research aimed to explore crisis management approaches in the sub-Saharan Africa subscription video on demand industry by investigating past crisis experiences of subscription video on demand organisations. The study gathered insights from multiple sources, including literature and crisis management strategies, to provide informed data that the subscription video on demand industry can use to develop successful crisis management strategies. The subscription video on demand industry has high prospects of growth in sub-Saharan Africa. The purpose of the study was to create a multidisciplinary crisis management guideline for the subscription video on demand industry to handle crises effectively. The primary research question was to identify the appropriate crisis management approach for the subscription video on demand industry. The sub- questions related to the selected organisation's previous crisis management experiences, proactivity to avert crises, and the preparation for and coping with future crises in the sub-Saharan Africa subscription video on demand industry. The study aimed to bridge the gap found in published literature by exploring and investigating these research questions
