Climate change is a pressing global issue, yet public perception varies significantly across regions and demographics. This study investigates the factors influencing climate change awareness and concern in South Africa, utilizing Afrobarometer survey data. Through statistical analysis, the research examines the role of socio-economic status, education, and media exposure in shaping public attitudes. Findings will contribute to understanding regional disparities in climate perception, informing targeted awareness campaigns and policy interventions. By addressing gaps in climate communication, this study aims to enhance public engagement and foster proactive responses to climate challenges.
