Abstract
Drilled specimens from four types of rocks, namely
Quartzite, Norite, Sandstone and Coal encountered in the
South African mining environment were tested to determine
their fracture toughness coefficients, using
International Society for Rock Mechanics (I...)
standards.
The tests were conducted using a MTS servo-controlled
