Abstract
Increased competition from globalisation is having an increasing impact on competition within
the South African market. This coupled with the exterrial pressures from international banks (globalisation), the emergence of non traditional players, higher demands from customers for a better deal is placing pressure on the bank's traditional means of earning income.
