Abstract
The role of urban form in facilitating local entrepreneurial driven equitable economic development in a disparate university town in South Africa.The point of departure of this research report is the persistent economic disparity and inequality in South Africa. Twenty two years after the advent of democracy, much of the population continues to live in poverty with a limited ability to improve their lives, as the gap between rich and poor grows larger.
