The effects of artificially acidified rain on calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) uptake by Pinus patula were investigated in terms of changes in the Ca and Mg-levels in the soil and changes in root growth and mycorrhizal coloniZation that might result from exposure to acidified precipitation.
