The interpolation problem is ill posed. To restore uniqueness we require that the interpolant is consistent with Laplace's equation. The interpolant is tested in a number of numerical experiments and is found to yield results which are far superior to simple polynomial interpolation.enRemoving noise due to aircraft motion from gravity gradient dataThesis
