Through an extensive literature review, fourteen ERP selection criteria were identified. A questionnaire incorporating these criteria was developed. Eighty survey respondents were asked to rate the criteria on a scale of zero to ten. The original fourteen criteria are considered by medium-sized businesses when selecting an ERP system. The three most important assessment areas are reliability, service (support), and compatibility. Manufacturing and non-manufacturing companies rate reliability, service and support, and compatibility as the three most important criteria, but have a different perspective on the importance of the remaining criteriaenEnterprise resource planningEnterprise Resource Planning (ERP)Thesis
