The aim of this research was to explore the perceptions of the Master of Public Health (MPH) alumni from the WSPH regarding the influence of the MPH qualification on their work and career path. The study employed a mixed methods study design using in-depth interviews with a semi-structured interview guide and a self-administered questionnaire. Findings showed that Findings showed that participants’ diversity enabled the alumni to engage confidently in a variety of health system contexts. Participants described stimulating teaching strategies that facilitated the development of new perspectives and enhanced their critical reflection. Their confidence grew through the course contributing to leadership opportunities and work progression. Positive programme outcomes was duplicated in the quantitative results where promotions, career opportunities and further study was identified.
