The report also examines what the Gukurahundi massacre was about, and how we know what we know about the massacre. The research report suggests that the government of Zimbabwe should liberalise access to all government records, and that archival legislation and record surveys be reviewed in order to ensure better service delivery. It further suggests that the Gukurahundi massacre be included in school curricula, because it is an important aspect of the nation’s heritage.enThesis
