Abstract
Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum (L)) is one of the most important horticultural crop grown in Mozambique. The emergence of Tomato Curly Stunt Diseases (ToCSD) is limiting the production of this crop. ToCSD, caused by monopartite begomoviruses Geminiviridae family) are worldwide known as important constrain in the tropic and subtropics regions and a broad understanding on the features related with virus, such as the interaction between the virus-vector and host, are key to develop a reliable techniques for diagnostic and management of the disease.
